Tui Nature Reserve

updates from 2008 - 2018

Shining Cuckoo

The other visitor we regularly see on both sides of the peninsula is the Fernbird.
The Tui’s have taken up residence in the Beech tree areas, it’s a fantastic sight and sound, a real attraction for the Spring visitors of Tui reserve!

Leona and Liam received both their interim certificate with the dogs. Very exciting and well done for their hard work! They have half a year now to prepare themselves for the full certificate exam. More about this story under the news release -  click here to read Leona’s local paper article.
