Ranger trainees visited Reserve

We've had a visit from the Assistant Ranger trainees from the Department of Conservation Polytech course, that were staying at Maud Island.

While the energetic trainees lifted about a 100 poles about 20 metres up hill, from where they can be transported with the Landcruiser, their mentor Kelvin went with Brian to the fence area where he provided some expert fencing advise.
After the hard work the group enjoyed a home baked lunch and headed back to Maud Island. Thanks for your help guys!
