Open Day organized by the Tennyson Boat Club
Saturday the 11th of January was a beautiful day, perfect for an Open Day organized by the Tennyson Boat Club. The Blue Safari catamaran arrived on the wharf at 11.00am with calm conditions. By midday the whole group was on top of the hill, some braved the walk up the hill and some had a little bit of help of the Kawasaki people carrier.
After lunch the group had an informative guided bush walk with Brian followed by a talk from Ellen about the upcoming native breeding programme expansion. There was also a keen interest in the different methods of predator control used on the reserve.
We like to thank Beryl for organizing the day and John for the wonderful cruise.
