This week we had the official result of the International Young Conservationist Award.
Leona took her dog Chase to Blenheim last week for a talk at a Green Leader meeting for 13-14 year-olds, who participate in environmental projects in the community.
We've had a visit from the Assistant Ranger trainees from the Department of Conservation Polytech course, that were staying at Maud Island.
Since our last update there have been two holes digged on the fence area, doesn't sound like much but these holes are for the most important poles of the whole fence. The very deep holes are made by hand which made it a long job, thanks Scott, for giving a hand.
On the 10th of April the Tui Nature Reserve Wildlife Trust had its first AGM meeting.
More progress being made! Thanks to the wonderful team of Helipro the material of one side of the fence has been delivered on site.
Great news! This week the ‘Tui Nature Reserve Wildlife Trust’ finally received the CHARITABLE status by the Charitable Commission.
